You want people to look forward to each post and pass it on to their friends and network. You want your blog to gain followers and cheerleaders who can fill your sales funnel with potential customers. This means you have to blog often and regularly.
By regularly, I mean you never let a week go by without at least one post. Every week. One. This is the minimum. It keeps you visible, but it's not going to grow your list of fans very quickly.
Try for at least twice a week. The posts don't need to be long as long as they give valuable information your readers need and want to share with others.
I recommend blogging four times a week. This allows you to reach people regularly and your list of followers will grow more quickly. It creates a robust blog that has a lot of value for people to read.
Clients usually groan since it seems like a lot of work, but it doesn't have to be if you plan it. More about that in the next blog post tomorrow.
Even if you have been blogging for a while, taking time to approach it more strategically can make it—and your business—more successful. See my blog post Your Blog Needs a Strategy to Succeed.
