- Set an outcome before you start creating. Decide what you want the customer to do after reading or listening to your content. The outcome keeps you on track and helps you decide what to put and leave out.
- Give your customer more than they expect. Be generous with your advice and counsel and make sure everything has valuable information the customer can use.
- Add a call to action. Don't assume your customer knows what you want him or her to do; tell them by making a clear offer or giving them clear directions about what to do.
