Invest Time to Get More Time!

“Things which matter most must never be at the mercy of things which matter least.
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

When you invest time, you take time now to save time later. You do this by identifying areas that can be streamlined and then creating and implementing processes that help you work more efficiently. While it takes time now to do this, you gain much more time later because the systems are in place. For example, you can:

  • Establish routine “office hours”—times when people know you are working on your most important activities and cannot be disturbed
  • Set up a system to control your e-mail in-box (more on this later)

Where can you invest time now to save time later?

What can you do to invest time now to gain time later?
