Do You Turn Your Blog into a Marketing Machine?

Every savvy business needs a blog. As I have written before, it is the window to your website. The more attractive the window, the more likely people will come inside to see what else you have to offer. This requires that your blog be a strategic marketing tool for your business. Here are some tips to make sure your blog markets your business:

  • Tie every blog to a product or service you offer and embed links to the sales pages on your website. For example, I offer Strategic Blog Marketing services and embedded a link in the introductory paragraph of this post.  
  • Showcase your expertise in every blog by sharing valuable information your clients want and need. 
  • Create a series of blogs around a theme or idea to keep people coming back for more.

  • Challenge your readers to do something and send it to you for a free evaluation. Limit this to the first three readers who respond.

  • Blog frequently to stay visible in the crowded blogosphere.
