Why Are We Blind to Our Own Solutions?

Why is it seemingly impossible to do for others what we so easily do for our clients?

I met with uber-connector Kimberly Reyes, Kimberly Reyes Lifestyle by Design for our weekly support coffee hour. She reviewed my website and liked what I offer in the way of concierge services, but she stated I needed a product that encompassed these services in a different way. Within 20 minutes, she helped me plan out an entirely new consulting product I can offer entrepreneurs. I can look at their content from the website to the blog, take all their product and services offerings, and tell them what is working, what needs to be changed, how to leverage and repurpose it, and what is missing to take their business to the next level. I do this now for people, but haven't offered it as an actual product! Kimberly called me a "forensic specialist" who can find problems and solutions for other entrepreneurs. I just can't do it for myself!

Anyone else blind to your own solutions? Do you need someone to do for you what you do for others? Truly, the shoemakers children have no shoes!
