Part 1 of 6: How Entrepreneurs Can Use E-books to Drive Bottom-Line Results

Part 1: What is an e-book?
Using ebooks for bottom-line results
An e-book is digital book that can be read as a PDF or formatted for a service such as Kindle. You can offer e-books as a free download when someone opt-ins to your website. You can also sell e-books on Amazon’s Kindle store or iTunes or through a service such as Gumroad.com, Sellfy.com, or ClickBank.com.

Make sure your e-book provides real value and isn’t just a quick throw-away of tips. This information product is one of the most important ones in your product line. It must represent your brand, communicate your brand message, provide unique value that sets you apart from your competition, and enhance your professional reputation.

Your e-book needs to establish your expertise and focus on what you do to produce results for your clients. You want it to be compelling so that people are eager to work with you. In the next part of this series, I will explain how to create and use e-books to expand your reach to new customers and clients.
